🔁 How Grow a Garden restocks work
Each vendor uses an independent clock. Weather events do not pause shops. A 5-minute Seed Shop roll is a fresh RNG draw from the published chance table — Carrot, Strawberry, Blueberry, and Tomato are listed as guaranteed; Prismatic seeds are not. There is no in-game “shop luck” stat on pets we track.
- Seed Shop — 5 minutes. High base-value seeds (Sunflower, Beanstalk, Ember Lily, Sugar Apple, Giant Pinecone) have sub-1% appearance rates in the table below. Average wait is 5 minutes ÷ chance, which is an estimate, not a guarantee.
- Gear Shop — 5 minutes, same cadence as seeds. Master Sprinkler is 1% (about 1 in 100 cycles, ~8 hours average if you check every roll). Godly Sprinkler is ~9% (1 in 11).
- Egg Shop — 30 minutes. Jungle Egg 4%, Bug Egg 5%. Zen Egg is not sold here.
- Cosmetic Shop — 4 hours. Decorative. Egg Incubator is a Pet Achievements reward, not this shop.
- Honey Shop — 6 hours. Bee-family items (Bee Egg, Honey Torch, Royal Jelly) as listed below.
- Travelling Merchant — every 2 hours, present 30 minutes, inventory rerolls each visit.

Carrot, Strawberry, Blueberry, and Tomato are guaranteed every restock; every other seed has a fixed per-restock chance — the rarer (and pricier) the seed, the lower the odds. Prices and restock odds below are the data-mined values from growagarden.fandom.com's Seed Shop page; "Wait Est." is our own calculation (5 min ÷ restock chance) showing the average time you'd expect to wait, not an official in-game figure.

💄 Cosmetic Shop Stock
Restocks every 4 hours. Contains flags, statues, benches, fences, arches, and hats for decorating your plot, run by an NPC named Isaac. Statues here are purely decorative — there's no "XP Booster Statue" or similar functional item. The one cosmetic worth calling out for pet hatching is the Egg Incubator (Prismatic) — it's not bought from this shop at all, though; it's a grand reward for completing the Pet Achievements, and it "powers" an egg placed inside it using crops to speed up its hatch.
🍯 Honey Shop Stock
Restocks every 6 hours. Contains Honey-related items and Bee pets. Key restock item: Bee Egg (guaranteed Bee-family pet), Honey Torch (attracts more bees to your plot), and Royal Jelly (upgrades any Bee pet by one tier).
🚚 Travelling Merchant Schedule
The Travelling Merchant is Grow a Garden's rarest vendor. Every 2 hours they appear at a random point in your garden for exactly 30 minutes with a randomized bundle of 6-8 items. Their inventory always includes at least one Divine or Mythical tier item — sometimes even Prismatic seeds you can't buy elsewhere.

💰 Stock Farming Strategy
- Set a 5-minute timer — Check both Seed & Gear shops every restock. Prismatic seeds go fast.
- Save 10M Sheckles — Always have Master Sprinkler money ready. Use free Sheckle codes to build your reserve.
- Multi-account rotation — Rare items can be traded, so if a friend gets a Master Sprinkler and you have a duplicate, swap for other rarities.
- Peak hours = high competition — 7-10 PM EST is when servers are most active. Rare seeds sell out in under 10 seconds. Early morning has less competition.
- Buy stack of 3 — When Prismatic seeds appear, buy 3 minimum. You can plant one and trade the extras for pets or gear worth 5-10x.

Does this page show which seeds are in stock right now?
No. The timers count down to the next restock using published intervals aligned to Unix epoch. We do not scrape your server's Seed Shop. When the counter hits zero, look in-game.
How does Grow a Garden restock work?
Each shop has a fixed interval. Seed and Gear every 5 minutes, Eggs every 30 minutes, Cosmetic every 4 hours, Honey every 6 hours, Travelling Merchant every 2 hours (stays 30 minutes). RNG is independent of weather.
How often does the Seed Shop restock?
Every 5 minutes. Every restock rolls a fresh random inventory from a pool of ~30 seeds (Carrot, Strawberry, Blueberry, and Tomato are guaranteed every time).
What is the rarest seed in the Seed Shop?
Among the crops tracked on this site, Giant Pinecone is the rarest at a 0.26% restock chance (1 in 380, roughly a 32-hour average wait). Sunflower and Mushroom are both Divine tier, not Prismatic, at 0.56% and 0.83% respectively (roughly 15 and 10 hour average waits) — see the table above for the full breakdown.
How do I get the Master Sprinkler?
Wait for it in the Gear Shop (5-minute restock cycle). It has a 1% appearance rate — 1 in 100 restocks on average. Cost: 10,000,000 Sheckles. Set browser tab focus alerts.
Can I predict when rare seeds will appear?
No — the game uses server-side RNG per restock, so patterns don't exist. However, the more restocks you attend, the higher your cumulative probability. At a 1% per-restock chance, attending 100 restocks (~8 hours of nonstop checking) gives roughly a 63% cumulative chance of having seen a Master Sprinkler at least once; 200 restocks gets you to ~87%.
Does the shop restock during weather events?
Yes — restock cycles are independent of weather events. However, some weather events (like Meteor Shower or Aurora) can drop bonus items into the Cosmetic Shop.
How often does the Travelling Merchant appear?
Every 2 hours, on a fixed schedule. They stay for exactly 30 minutes then despawn. Their inventory rerolls each appearance and always contains at least one Divine or Mythical item.
Is there a way to boost my shop luck?
No official "shop luck" stat exists, and no pet currently in the game boosts shop restock odds — treat any claim of a "luck-boosting pet" for shop stock with skepticism unless you can verify it on the wiki.
Do codes affect shop stock?
