• BaseValue — Default Sheckle value of the crop at base weight.
• (Weight ÷ BaseWeight)² — Weight is squared. 2× weight = 4× value, 3× weight = 9× value.
• Growth — Default (×1), Gold (×20) or Rainbow (×50). Only one applies per fruit.
• ΣEnvMults — Sum of every environmental mutation multiplier.
• N — Number of environmental mutations.
• FriendBonus — 1.00 to 1.50 based on how many friends are in your garden (+10% per friend, max 5).

How Mutation Stacking Works

Environmental mutations stack additively, not multiplicatively. Let's say your watermelon has three mutations: Shocked (×100), Celestial (×120), Disco (×125).

Now apply Rainbow growth: 343 × 50 = 17,150×. A base Watermelon worth 2,905 Sheckles would sell for ~49.8 million Sheckles.

What Does Pet Age Do in Grow a Garden?

Pet Age is the single most important long-term stat on a pet. It scales:

• Ability strength — climbs steadily as the pet ages, reaching roughly 2.5× its starting strength at max age.
• Cooldown — shortens as the pet ages (roughly −25% by max age), so abilities fire more often.

Feeding is the only way to age a pet — food consumed = XP gained — and each age costs progressively more XP than the last, so the climb to 500 slows down considerably at the top end.

What Is Age 500 in Grow a Garden? (Max Age Explained)

500 is the maximum age a pet can reach in Grow a Garden. Once a pet hits age 500 it stops aging — it can't go higher, and its ability strength and cooldown are locked in at their best values.

Age 500 matters for one reason above all others: a pet must be age 500 to be eligible for pet mutations. That's what makes maxing a pet worth the very steep XP grind at the top end, and it's why age-500 pets carry a large premium in player-to-player trades compared to otherwise identical low-age pets.

Note that the game does not publish the exact per-age scaling curve, so the age-based strength and cooldown figures are close estimates calibrated to the widely reported max-age values, while weight is exact (it comes straight from hunger fill, not age).

Pet Cooldown in Grow a Garden — How It Works

Cooldown is how long a pet waits between ability activations. Lower is strictly better: a Queen Bee on a 240-second cooldown fires roughly twice as often as a Butterfly on 720 seconds, which matters enormously when you're farming a specific mutation.

Two things reduce cooldown:

• Pet age — cooldowns shorten steadily as a pet ages, down to roughly −25% at age 500.
• Praying Mantis — this Mythical pet has a chance to remove another equipped pet's cooldown entirely when its own ability triggers. Pair it with your longest-cooldown pet (Butterfly at 720 s, Dragonfly at 540 s) for the biggest gain.

What Is Base Weight in Grow a Garden?

Base weight is the weight a crop or pet has with no boosts applied — the floor value the whole calculation starts from.

For crops, base weight is what the value formula compares against: (Weight ÷ Base Weight)². Because that ratio is squared, a crop at 2× its base weight is worth 4× as much, and at 3× base weight it's worth 9× — which is why weight matters so much more than most players realize. Every crop's exact base weight is listed in our values database.

For pets, base weight is the starting weight at zero hunger fill; the pet grows toward its max weight as you feed it, using Base + (Hunger ÷ Max Hunger) × (Max − Base). A Kitsune, for example, runs from 2.8 kg base to 135 kg max. Per-pet base and max weights are on the pets page.

You start with 3 pet slots. Expand up to 8 slots via: (1) buying slot upgrades in the Pet Shop (50,000₡ → 2M₡ per slot), (2) unlocking the Gamepass (~499 Robux), or (3) reaching Level 50 player rank for a free bonus slot.

How to Get a Free Dragonfly

The Dragonfly (Divine, Gold Mutation Chance ability) is not free by default, but you can obtain one without Robux via: (1) hatching a Legendary/Mythical egg (0.15% drop rate), (2) redeeming certain event codes, (3) completing the Summer Event quest chain, or (4) trading for one with the Sheckles/crops you've farmed.
